looking for info from anyone who has installed the nismo cold air intake sys it is about 100.00 cheaper than K&N. Is it fairly simple to install ?

Yeah, the installation of the Nismo Cold Air Intake is pretty straight-forward. I probably have the destructions in the garage in the box with the stuff that was removed from ours when I installed it. If I remember right, it took about an hour, and that was probably with a couple phone calls in between. I got ours off ebay from a Nissan dealer in CA if memory serves. Really good price. I also installed an Airaid TB spacer at the same time. The wife says she thinks it improved the gas mileage a bit, but when I drive it, I like the sound, so it somehow gets less (?!!) Anyway, go for the intake. I think you'll like it.

yeah mine was really easy to install as well, and it looks nice in the engine bay. Not a lot of protection if you do a lot of mudding etc. Im custom fabbing some sheet metal to extend from the included heat shield. The sound is great. No improvement in gas mileage, but i will have to say, i feel a small difference in highway driving. I find i don't have to put the pedal to the metal to keep the x at 70mph anymore.

I installed the Air raid model.And I could not be happier it sounds great and gas milage has definetly gotten better. I am going for the space throttle next.

i've done some research, and the throttle body space is a huge waste of money. really only makes a difference if you have a carb. you don't.

I have had a K&N cai. I recently replaced it with the Nismo, wich is much nicer than the K&N.The Nismo is also easier to install.

right it is a waist of money, dose nothing for fuel injection!!!!!!
