Shane in Utah, on my second 2003 X. I bought my first new in 2003 and had it till 2006, and bought another 2003 last month. Been trolling a bit and reading and searching.

My first X was my wifes year round grocery getter. We did a family trip to Moab in it, documented in the Utah Xterra forums.
Still have a good video up here: Video of Poison Spider Mesa - Waterfall (http://www.lawrencefamilyalbum.com/other/Poison_Spider_Mesa_Waterfall_small.wmv)
If you dont want to download, its actually embeded in my homepage at http://www.lawrencefamilyalbum.com. Anyway, we traded it for a lifted suburban becasue we went from 0 kids to 3 in a year. I regretted every moment of it. Last month I picked up a 2003 in really REALLY great condition, 90K miles. This weekend I got decent tires for it, and pulled the stock pontoon siderails.

This week, I plan to:
Get and Install some offroad and fog lights.
At least find and order a disconectable rear sway. (Calmini looks good)
Do the one-hour DIY intake writeup on these forums, with a K&N drop in.
Then settle down for a long winter.

Before spring Moab trips I plan on:
3" suspention lift
sliders
31" wheels and tires.

Thanks allready for providing a great site full of usefull information. Ill leave you with some eyecandy, Pics from a trip yesterday:

welcome!

Im not sure what kind of sliders you want, but if you were thinking about Shrock, then keep in mind the wait time is roughly ten weeks...just to keep in mind so you dont wait until the last minute lol
