Hello guys

first time poster; i am looking into buyin a 2005 xterra se and everything looks good. too good as a matter of fact. the milegage is only 15000 kilometer.

thats a little low for an 05. my question is there any OTHER way to check the mileage of the truck other then the odometer inside on the cluster.

Maybe the trucks CPU has a milegage counter the dealer can plug in and check the real mileage on the vehicle ??

does anyone know

thank you
simon

If you look at a map of the twin cities metro area, I service the south western part, outside the 494 beltway, from 394 in a big sweeping counter clockwise arch, down to 35W. Going outwards about 50 miles, with west Bloomington being the pivot point, as far out as Glencoe, and as far south as New Prague. To get into my territory, I drive about 50 miles one way, and then about that same amount home at night. Almost 200 miles a day. I carry several hundred pounds of tools, parts and other misc. gear also. I felt that the manual X was the only vehicle I looked at that could take this abuse, and I think I'm being proven right. If you look at the total amount of miles I driven, I've probobly got more behind the wheel time with my X than most of the other members.
