Anthony 12-19-2006, 11:36 AM Very nice! You will LOVE the tires offroad.
burnout 12-19-2006, 11:37 AM that sounded pretty damn cheap compared to the world i came from. (VW). this might be a noob question, but are those direct bolt up with no rubbing issues?
Ricer-X 12-19-2006, 12:25 PM Probably Not, I Rub The Bumper At Full Right Turn, I Think Im Just Gonna Adjust The Steering Stops, These Tires Are 1" Wider Than What I Have Now, And I Think The Backspacing Is 0.5" Less Than Stock, We'll See.
Im Definitely Going To Check For Rubbing When They Come In, And Shave What I Need To.
burnout 12-19-2006, 12:36 PM I had a 1997 Nissan pickup 2WD with a Fabtech suspension lift and rear leaf springs. I forget the brand, but they are very popular.
Ricer-X 12-19-2006, 12:51 PM Saw I Typo, In My Previous Post, The Backspacing Is 0.5" Less Than Stock + My 1.5" Wheel Spacers
Ricer-X 12-21-2006, 09:36 AM They Are In Town, They Just Wont Be Delivered Til Tomorrow Bc No One Will Be At The House Tomorrow. That Was Fassssstttt!!!!

dang! where did u get those at?
I'm confused...the new rims are 3.5" BS...the OEM BS = 5.5"...so the difference is 2" more rub from too little BS...
Adding wheel spacers would of course ROB more BS, so you'd have even more rub.
?
json3904 01-14-2007, 04:01 PM i have a ? if i go with these rims Size: 16 x 8 Bolt Pattern: 6-5.5
Back Spacing: 4.5 will i have a major rubing issue i have been looking for some rims either 15" or 16" can anybody help me out????
Anthony 01-14-2007, 06:49 PM It will rub. Need to have 5" bs on an 8" wide rim.

i have the spacers on the stock wheels, and dont plan on using them with my wheeling set, so the difference is .5" unless im mistaken, i know how the backspacing works, stock backspacing was 5.5, minus 1.5 with the spacers makes 4, then 4-3.5=.5
Anthony 01-15-2007, 12:21 PM i have the spacers on the stock wheels, and dont plan on using them with my wheeling set, so the difference is .5" unless im mistaken, i know how the backspacing works, stock backspacing was 5.5, minus 1.5 with the spacers makes 4, then 4-3.5=.5
What is the 3.5 you are subtracting to get .5?
Ricer-X 01-15-2007, 12:26 PM the bs of the new wheels is 3.5, backspacing with spacers of what im running now is 4, therefore my new wheels and tires stick out .5" more than my daily drivers
Anthony 01-15-2007, 12:32 PM ah, i see. Why do you have spacers on the stock wheel?
Ricer-X 01-15-2007, 12:50 PM i didnt like the instability the lift did for my daily freeway driving, i raised the truck 3" so to make up for it i widened the stance 3", it made a world of difference in the handling, far more than i had hoped
