Hey guys, first want to start off by saying I'm new here..so hello everyone.
Now to the topic.. I just replaced my bettery in the X. It's not a OEM, got it from a friend. Brand new battery, the only issue was the terminals were reversed. Of course I didn't realize this until I tried hooking the battery up and the positive cable wouldn't tighten down on the post. Anyway, I heard a 'pop' and knew I had blown a fuse. Thats when I noticed I had been hooking the positive cable to the negitvice post. So, after much cursing, I went to autozone and got 2 extension cables and wired the battery up with the positive going to the positive post and neg. to neg.
I have checked and replaced the ignition fuse. However, I am not getting anything with I try and start the X. The stock theft deterrant light is blinking on the dash, but no other lights come on. Any ideas..did I fry the ECU? Please help..
btw..i feel like a total idiot for not paying attention to the freaking labels on the battery.. :aufkopfhauen-big:
