I just came from a 2006 GTI 2 days ago. I can tell you, as much as people say the stock Xterra RF system sucks...

its way better than my VW stereo sound quality. by far. and since i dont like messing with that stuff anymore.. I've super stoked.

Ahh thats my medium level stuff. My Brax and TRU were much higher end. Close to McIntosh, but better. The PPI and JL arent close to the same class. But the old PPI was pretty good.. The best speakers I ever had were Focals. I've had 3-4 sets. I tried DynAudio also, and didnt like them so much.

very true.. those are considered the best by people who buy amps in mainstream stores.
