Just seeing if anybody had made any plans for a possible CC run in the next couple months?

Just asking because if there isn't any for quite a while, I'm probably going to go ahead and get another alignment done within couple weeks and swap my KM2s out with my old stock tires and use stock tires for DD to save my KM2 treads.

I know there are couple that would be up for it if it doesn't interfere with their schedules like mine, but I've kinda managed to convince Justin (Jdubbau02) to get back into wheeling in his X and Justin (Jmoney8659) might be interested also too. I know Sean (bluegrassen) would be down for it though but this is just to generate ideas though. No definite plans.

This would be for easy/moderate trails only since both Justins don't want to hit anything above that which I agree.

I was actually considering posting a feeler the other day but felt with my work schedule it might be too early.

My upcoming schedule is like this:

August: booked with work and the King of the Hill competition
September: I know one weekend is going to be doing an inventory at work and the last weekend I will be leaving for Tampa for two weeks for work.
October: First week and a half, still in Tampa but I believe the rest of the month is clear.
November: Going to Superlift ORV park in Arkansas with my local club around Veteran's day if I don't have to go to Vegas for work and then beginning Thanksgiving, I'll be working in either Vegas again or Orlando.

So that leaves:

September 12th or 19th (my inventory weekend is up to me)
October 17th or 24th

How do those dates sound? I'm in the peak of our business season right now and it won't die down until after Thanksgiving so that's why my weekends are limited and I have to be flexible.

Dame Drake your a busy man.
Any of those dates will work for me. Lets just try and pick a month then we can fine tune the day. I think the sooner the better so September would be good.

October is my usually busiest month, always have been so I'm gonna have to rule out October so September might be a good possibility. I'll talk to both Justins and see what they say sometime later.

Yeah....lets hope for little to none rain this time....lol Drake

Hah! Yeah that will happen! It has rained every single time I've been there. Although I do prefer it slick to dry. The last time I wheeled on dry trails I tore all kinds of shit up. I found there is such a thing as too much traction. lol

Oddly enough when I spoke of being flexible, I just found out that I may be going to both Vegas and Orlando at Thanksgiving. Hmmm... last time I went to Vegas, I came home and bought a full set of 33's. Maybe this time I can come home and buy a locker. hahahaha

September I can probably work around without too many problems. You guys pick the date and I can tweak my work schedule around it more than likely. If we set a date, I may see if any of my local club members want to join in and we could post up on NOAS to see if Andy or any of those guys want to go.

I wish I could but I've got a big defense conference I'm working that weekend and all that following week and then that next weekend is the KOTH competition that I'm working (spectator control). And I'll miss the Uwharrie run as well it appears. I'll be in Tampa, FL that weekend.

But I would definitely recommend the Harlan run to anybody that can make it! It's usually always a good turnout and a LOT of trails.

I know I havent been on here in forever but I would be interested in going back to c.c. sometime. Friend of mine that rode with me at cc is about to buy an x or a frontier so hes looking to go as well.

Way cool man! Definitely try to get up there with us. I may bring a jeep buddy of mine as well. Hopefully we can settle on a date that works well for everyone.

Alright, so sounds like majority of us want September. I haven't gotten the chance to talk to both Justins yet though but I'll try to do that this weekend.

I am down to go, I will just have to see what my schedule is like closer to the date ya'll go on. I was looking forward to Harlan all summer and I can't go now so this should make up for it.

I guess its safe to say that Justin (Jdubbau02) will not be involved in this run nor this club anymore. He just informed me today that he is going to "clunker" his X since his X qualifies for the CARS program for a new vehicle. I haven't been able to get ahold of the other Justin yet though.

I may have couple passengers ride along with me though but will know more when its closer.

Damn that sucks to hear about what he's doing with his X but oh well... it's his X so I guess it's his right. Did he have any aftermarket stuff on his he could part out and make a few bucks on? I'm sure if he had shackles or something, he could get rid of them quick. Hell he might as well strip the bitch bare. Part it out now so it's not a total loss when they make an X-cube out of it.

Yeah, just completely caught me off guard when he mentioned he was going to clunk it even tho he aint with his girl anymore but oh well. As for aftermarket stuff, he sold them a while ago, replaced the AC shackles with stock also and sold off bunch of stuff from lights to cb, his X is pretty much bare anyways with the carpet already tossed out from that dunkin' incident at CC last year, when I looked inside his X couple months ago.

Yeah I did too. I noticed on FB that shortly after she was posting pics every day of her with another dude and constantly updating with crap like "I'm going with "shmuck" to whereever", etc etc. Just from seeing that mess, I think he's going to be better off.

I can understand what his plan may be and since he has gutted his interior, "clunking" it is probably going to be his best although most unfortunate decision. He's already got a project vehicle and it's really hard to keep two projects going.

So what weekend is best for everybody? Labor Day is out for me and I would avoid that park like the plague that weekend. The ATV clubs assault that place full force on that weekend. The last weekend I'm probably going to be flying out for Tampa if not already down there.

Drake - I happen to be that "schmuck" you're referring to...:mocking: haha.

We all did too but Justin is definitely alot better off without her. I agree, two project vehicles at once is too much, just sucks because we were talking about SAS'ing it couple months ago, lol. Anyways, Labor wknd is out for me also too.

It'll have to be 12th or 19th though but I need to know ahead so I can request one of those days off.

So let's get a vote here... 12th or the 19th. Post up with the day that works best for you. I'm pretty sure I'm good for either one unless something drastically changes at work which I don't see happening.

It doesn't matter to me. I can work my schedule around it most of the time. Whatever date you guys decide on I will clear everything else out.

Due to lack of interest and scheduling conflicts with couple members, including me, this run has been postponed indefinitely until further notice.

There will be another run scheduled at later date.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Thanks.
