I have a 2000 xterra with an electrical dilemma...my dashboard lights and rear running lights went out at the same time. My brakes, turn signals and flashers work, but no running lights. I also have lost my licsence plate light. I pulled all the housings and the bulbs are not burnt out. I called my local Nissan Dealer and they pleaded innocent and said to bring the truck in. I don't trust these guys for reasons I won't go into. Is there a relay up front that controls both of theses areas that might be bad?

If I was a betting man, I'd be putting money that you blew a fuse. Specifically the 15Amp fuse #39, located in the fuse and fusible link box (under the hood on the passenger side, just aft of the battery)

PS: Does your rear wiper work?

did ya get it fixed yet?
