Hey, I've been on here for a few weeks reading up on all kinds of stuff. Last week, I bought a red 2000 Nissan Xterra SE with 130k miles for dirt cheap. Inside and out it is practically new. I must admit, it is one amazing machine.

Since I bought it, I've put on a new timing belt, water pump, and a few a/c parts along with all new fluids. Still need to get my cracked exhaust manifold replace, but it looks like its going to be a bear to get out.

Anyways, I'll throw up some pictures later. I'm looking forward to reading and contributing more on here in the coming months.

Welcome from Knoxville, TN!

Which part of TN are you from?

I live in Kingston, its about 30 minutes west of Knoxville on I40. We're the town with the TVA plant that likes to pour millions of cubic yards of ash into the rivers...its a rural area though so I have a lot of friends with large pieces of property that are fun to wheel on.

Where are you in Knoxville? I picked up my X from a guy in downtown. Met the seller at the Pilot on Sutherland after finding it on craigslist lol

I know where Kingston is, haha. I've actually toured the ash spill and thats one big mess down there though.

Anyways, I'm in West Knoxville, just about 10 min from LC (Lenoir City).

Sounds like you got a good deal on the X since it seems to be mechanically sound!
Is it 4x4? You should consider coming to Coal Creek with us sometime next month, we're working the details out right now.

Love to go, but I'm all stock as of right now. Of course, that will change as money becomes available. Let me know though, I'd like to tag along.

I'd also like to make a run up to wind rock, haven't been there in forever. Hear lots of great stuff about it.

And of course I got the v6 4x4 model. I know what I like =D

You can go as stock, we will be tackling easy/moderate trails though.

NOAS run last May:

Club Xterra at Coal Creek last December (Sloppiest wheeling trip ever and I was stock):

Club Xterra at Coal Creek last summer (Didn't wheel due to an injury):

Welcome to CX!

If you are able to make it, you'll do fine bonestock. I went there several times back when I was stock and running "may pops" and had a blast. We aren't planning to hit any difficult trails because there may be another stocker or two in the group and I can't risk breaking anything before I go to Superlift in Arkansas. We will take care of ya. But I can't promise you won't get any pinstriping. hahaha

The HB is welcome for sure. Andy runs a HB up there with us pretty often. Hopefully you can make it. If not, there will be more opportunities. The winter months are usually my only free weekends I can get out and wheel.
