Had a great Thanksgiving hope you did as well. I know I ate way too much. Probably gained 5 lbs this past week. LOL

Hello, Just wanted to share this. In Hawaii you may have try or heard of Kalua Pig? (cook in an underground oven) cover with dirt.

We sometimes put turkey and can hams (poke holes in the can) and cook it with the Kalua pig in the underground oven. Tasty and Juicey!!!


Dig a 3-4 foot hole, Use Kiawa wood burn till almost charcoal,(special type rocks throw on the charcoal, cover with banana stalks, Hawaiian tea leafs, chicken wire the pig and turkeys, cover with more stalks,than burlap bags, throw dirt on. watch for smokes and cover till NO more smoke coming out....wait for couple of hours...dig out and enjoy! Something like that! ..........Aloha
