Ricer-X 01-26-2006, 11:48 AM it would be nice not to pay $400mo. for rent(This is new for 06 however the rest is not)
or $296mo for health insurance
or $370mo for my Xterra
or $160mo for car insurance
or $100mo for cell phone
or $128mo for my toll tag
or $who fkn knows for gas.
or $ for anything else i own/buy/want
supercharged 01-26-2006, 03:24 PM Riceman you need one of these, if you don't already have
accessory plug 120 volt inverter, they are quite impressive, I plugged my xmas lights into it even Be sure to get a fan cooled model, worth the xtra $
Ricer-X 01-27-2006, 07:54 AM thats something i really need, ive just been bullshittin. it would especially come in handy since i do alot of remote wilderness camping. would also compliment my dual purpose deep cycle optima battery. the battery is so massive, my power steering has more power, my amp/subs hit lower bass, and hits it harder and dosent dim the lights or distort my speakers since the battery can keep up with the power the amp pulls(actually compensates for what the alternator cant do). also my truck idles smoother, revs smoother and faster. but then again my origional battery was in pertty bad shape.
Ricer-X 01-27-2006, 08:47 AM thanks for bringin the inverter up, i just ordered one. i had forgotten until you said something
supercharged 01-27-2006, 02:47 PM I ll try to find something else you may want........

Did you get your inverter in time for the campout riceman
I have a 75 and 120watt, and still discovering new things to do, those cheap clear xmas lights really light up the camp, and don't use much current...........
Ricer-X 02-14-2006, 09:13 AM yep, got a 140watt, the christmas light thing is a good idea, ill do it next time, gotta buy some tho, and they are seasonal! oh well im sure i can find them on the internet.

What can you do with that though?
That only gives you 1.16 amps @ 120VAC...
supercharged 02-14-2006, 05:39 PM I just run a few lights, and I leave one plugged into a booster pack, running a couple of ultrasonic mouse repellers in my camper

May not be a tool but, if you do any legging out of the truck, I sure have enjoyed mine. Garmin foretrex 101, wrist gps, has all features of a handheld, I guess...When I don't wear it I stick it over the rear view mirror to monitor speed and distance to programed points. I got lost (well not really lost) but turned around on my own land three times before I decided to order one. I'm bad about walking in circles when you have to deviate around foliage etc. Anyway it's perfect for me. It's probably an old model by now
I would recommend getting some NiMH batteries and a charger
