buckethead47 07-17-2009, 03:45 PM i might be getting an old pick up from my uncle in the next few weeks its a blue dodge ram. right now the floor boards and bed are rusted away. the engine isnt bolted down and the tranny isnt put in. so if i get it and when i get every thing working i get to have fun with some tubes and a mig welder ;) more info and pics later. You could be sitting on an ideal trail rig project. buckethead47 07-17-2009, 05:12 PM i think its an 82 not 100% but it look really damn close to it. the motor is a 383 which is a v8 and im not 100% sure if its solid axle but from the web all the ones that i looked at are solid axle. and my parents said "i dont care if you bring it home you just have to get it in the drive way, you have to make it so we dont get in trouble for having a non working vehicle in the drive way and we are not putting any money into it. so next week it is coming home! midget28 07-17-2009, 05:15 PM When you get that bad boy finished come on over to the Make it or Break it park in Iowa. Dodges tend to have a mind of there own but I know guys that wheel them with few problems despite built motors and 36"s.(but there 3/4 ton) Edit: 383s area good motor even for a dodge the biggest thing are the rearends like to go bad and transmissions leave alot ot be desired.
