I'm going to assume you checked all the fuses.

Did the problem start with just one window, or all?

it started with all the windows i did check all the fuses but the only thing i cant seem to locate is the relays for the power windows (assuming it has one)

on my x the windows roll up real slow and they get caught while going up. then last week the pass rear didnt go back up, and i had to play with it for about 30 min.

There's a TSB on the window regulators...its a free fix at the Stealership.

:D

Enjoy.

Hello, Anytime you change a part (electrical) type, when a part is not working correctly your on board computor will turn it off.

What you need to do is have the dealer reset the computor for you! This might be one of the many possible answers here! ........Aloha

TSB is a Technical Service Bulletin... It's sorta like a recall, but unlike a recall where they fix EVERYONE's car, on a TSB they only fix it if you have a problem.

You have a problem with yours so they should fix it if the problem is related to the TSB, no matter what year it is.

well unfortunatly im gona have to disagree with the hawian guy cause ecu's only control individual components unless they are hooked up in a network wich i assume the X's dont have if it was a window regulator issue they would have all just stoped working all of a sudden. doesnt quite make sense to me. Im a Technician myself but i work on a Swedish piece of crap known as a VOLVO so i am not familiar with nissan systems at all

Yeah - he's off....I let it go because the TSB is the solution...they fix'm for free.

The ECU has zip to do with the windows or locks.

I had my engine out, and the ECU in the house...and put the battery cables on the battery for a few minutes to roll up the windows because it was going to rain.

If I needed the ECU to do that...the truck would be wetter inside....than it was.

Hello, If you are still having problems.....ask a mechanic at the dealership?

This advice came from the CAR GUys on the radio talk show! This reset for cars may or may not apply on all brands.

If you do take it to a dealer..Please let everyone know if this works? ...Aloha

PS: Where I live it rains too....and we do get snow during the winter months...on top of Mauna Kea mountain, (my house faces the mountain).

Any more info on the power window issue. I am having this problem with my 02 "X". I ordered a new master control switch and will be getting it shortly. The windows have always been very slow to roll up though. When I put in the new master switch I will see how the windows work and if they are still slow I will check with my dealer.
