: 2000 Xterra 4X4 Factory Wheel Questions?
HotToyz@netzero.net 11-16-2006, 03:56 PM What year Factory Xterra Wheels will interchange on a 2000 4X4? I would like to up-date my wifes 00 wheels with newer FACTORY Xterra Wheels and wondering what years are a direct fit? Keep in mind its a 4X4.
THANKS!
Anthony 11-16-2006, 04:27 PM Any wheels from 00-04 will work.
HotToyz@netzero.net 11-16-2006, 07:28 PM THANKS! Now Wondering if anyone has pictures of the 00 01 02 03 04 wheels to compare?
And aren't the 03-04's 16's? Wouldn't mind going to a 16". Our's are now 15's!

Anthony 11-16-2006, 08:41 PM Now that's all off the top of my head, so some info may be slightly off.
Please post corrections if you see mistakes.
HotToyz@netzero.net 11-17-2006, 06:19 AM WOW! Thats perfect! Now I know what I'm looking for! I LOVE the 04 type wheels! And do like the Super Charged Version, but bet, they'd be like looking for a needle in the ole hay stack!
But the 04 (Either Version) is what I want!
The Hunt Is On!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bklyn.X 11-17-2006, 07:47 AM Before you change from a 15” wheel to a 17” wheel (I’m assuming that is what your doing) you might want to check out the price difference between the costs of the different tires. The 17’s will cost you a bit more; I stayed with the 15” wheel ‘cause I’m a cheap bastard. Just a heads up.
Ricer-X 11-17-2006, 08:27 AM backspacing on 04's are 5.75"
Anthony 11-17-2006, 09:42 AM backspacing on 04's are 5.75"
Where'd you get that info? The wheels should be the same backspacing for all years 00-04.
I will have to measure mine today to verify. (actually I'm at the dealership right now, I suppose I could ask.)
Ricer-X 11-17-2006, 11:12 AM Oops, I Shoulda Specified
Im Not Sayn 04 Is Different, I Just Put 04 Down Bc I Know What Mine Are, I Couldnt Say If Previous Generations Are The Same Or Not
Anthony 11-17-2006, 01:33 PM I just went out to my garage and measured my spare set of 04 alloys (16x7 square spoke style)
The backspacing is 5.5" on the dot.
Ricer-X 11-17-2006, 07:04 PM in that case, i retract my previous statement:)
HotToyz@netzero.net 11-18-2006, 09:06 PM OK! Now what is the proper tire size used by the Factory for the 04 Square Spoke type wheels? I've seen both 70 series and 65 series listed I THINK?

Anthony: you wouldn't want to get rid of an extra set of 16" 04 Square Spokes Would ya?

Nope, sorry. I'm gonna hang onto them.:)
They show up from time to time on Ebay though, so keep your eyes open.
Expect to pay between $150-$225 or so for the set of 4.
HotToyz@netzero.net 11-19-2006, 09:18 PM Would you happen to know the OEM 16" tire size for the 2004 Square Spokes? I'm going to start hunting some 16" tires. Because I know I can find the wheels if I hunt hard enough.
And wasn't trying to stiff arm you into selling me your spares! it was just a thought!
THANKS!
