ok so im catching up with some mods that happened while i was away...so here it is...this work was not done by myself it was out-sourced to Imagine Audio in Cherry Hill, NJ...i know prop points goes down but i wasnt confident enough to do it myself (besides if they f'd up my headliner it was on them not me...lol)...still waiting for my shrock rear bumper to complete this install...

its just color matched fabric but yes the headlinered my CB...its loud enough where i didnt need speaker fabric over the speaker...but i still want them to sit it more into the roof to again not hinder view in the rear view mirror

Nice idea and decent implementation. I wish the cb manufacturers would follow the lead of the ham radios and create real remote mount head units instead of just all-in-one's.

LOL

That's why I went with a Cobra 75 WX ST, its all in the mike, no giant box to mount.

Just a connector to the antenna that the mike jacks into under the dash....no mess, no bulk....so my entire CB set-up is a mike with a cord that goes under the dash to the antenna...and, if I want to use it in other rigs, all I need is a cheap jack and another antenna for 5 second swap-outs.
