Just wondering your opinions on Window Vent Visors? I want some for my wifes 00 Xterra andwondering what ya'll think about the new style inside the channel or the older style stick on the body type?
THANKS!

I have not seen these on an X yet, but I had a set on a Benz that I had a few years back. I ordered the in-channel thinking that it would be a smoother look. Then I installed them and found that the window glass would no longer fit inside the weatherstrip because of the thickness of the ventvisor that was in the channel. I had to remove them, get new adhesive, and stick them on the outside of the door. Maybe the companies have resolved this issue by now, but that was my experience. Check it out before you buy.

I have the in-channel and love them. They take some time to break in and I kept the top edge of the window "greased" with what ever I had on hand until they broke in. They don't stick out as far as the stick on type, and I kind of like that.

I also have the In-Channel, and it took a long time before the windows would close properly.
Although they work fine now, I would definitely suggest the exterior stick-on type.
