alright today we decided to go out to the beach and let me tell you it was real soft sand today...

we parked close to the entrance and sat there for a while and then decided we were going to drive to the mouth and back then call it a day...

well first there was a full sized dodge that decided to turn and back up close to the water and got stuck as soon as he put it in reverse... i didnt get any pics of this cause my girl was messing with the baby...

after i got him out we drove down a little further and there was a frontier and a full size 4x4 ford stuck at one of the exits...

so with me being 2wd i backed up a little ways and floored it and made it through with no trouble... i back up and start getting the straps ready to pull out the fronty and a old buddy of mine comes pulling up with a pretty sweet jeep... and says he will do it...

(he also pulled out the car next to him cause they did realize that they couldnt make it till it was to late)

now as he is pulling out the frontier another full sozed ford tries to drive past them to the left and also got stuck..

we had a real interesting day today... i cant wait till we have the beach camp out, but i will start another thread about the dates later...

So did everyone forget to air down?

Beach looks good though, looks like a fun place to ride around. I wish CO had a beach....

i dont think people around here know to air down.. LOL i know i dont cause i dont have a air compressor but as soon as i get OBA i will cause the closest gas station that has air is about 15 min away... this is the same beach i was going to do the beach cleanup on and since then the city has been keeping up with it...

2wd? i would have never guessed. i just got back from padre island national seashore, planned on staying the nite and didn't because after a recovery of some guy in a chevy Colorado, i just about passed out.... dehydration is the word i guess. humidity and that don't exactly mix to well. anyhow, from there we went up to Rockport for some pier fishing after i felt better, and ended up sleeping in the walmart parking lot. today we went up to San Antonio, visited the zoo.... then on to Austin were we decided to walk around s. congress. and now home. if i knew you would have gone to that beach i could have met up with you instead of going to pins. ah well i will have to catch up with you next time.

itd be about another 40min past houston for bryan beach

what about the weekend after??? you just let me know and we will try to make it happen.. LOL i live all of 5 min away from said beach so its not to hard to get there for me.. LOL

i will have to see what my bank tells me lol, im running broke..... i think i might be able to head out there this weekend... concert is thursday in dallas. so i will let you know friday if that's fine with you
