busted bumper, grill, and A/C condenser. (And crumpled fender REAL good)

Time to call Jim at Shrockworks... again. I'll just have my paychecks direct deposited with him.

Ouch! It probably hurts to think that the bumper may have saved it from being so bad. Just got my Shrock on Friday. I ordered it on Sept. 2nd so you might want to get a move on. Business must be booming for Jim.

Well that blows my theory that the a/c condensor coil could be needlessly damaged by a grille guard in a light collision
Don't open that door if it's binding, really a lot of work when you get edge damage

Fender was not pushed back, so no door problems. The Shrock bumper is already ordered.

The reason the AC condensor was damaged was that I have my Grover Air Horns (which are about 20" long) mounted behind the bumper on top of the bumper support bracket, and they got pushed into the condenser, puncturing it.

If not for the horns, it probably would not have been hurt much if at all.

I'm on my second factory horn, and about to be on my third... they clog with mud VERY easily, and then they die. And there is no way to bring them back to life

I get the FIAAM Freeway Blaster horns...they get wet, but you just turn them around a few times and drain the water back out, like out of a snail shell.

Suckers are nice and loud...I get the low note.

I have a set of Buell Train Horns (4 horns that run off the OBA)...but never mounted them...no time.

I have dual Grover Air Horns, they run at 120 psi off my OBA... :D

I keep the stock horn for inspection.

Mine take 150 psi....and I was going to wire the solinoid so that the regular horn always sounds too when I hit the horn...but I'd have an off switch, so I could either have the FIAAM and the ~ 150 psi 150 dBa blast, or, just the FIAAM...depending upon if its for inspection, letting someone know I was in their driveway to pick them up...or gently reminding the guy who cut me off and gave me the finger that I was aware that he was now there, etc.

which way is your horn pointing. If it is up, no wonder it gets clogged with mud and stops working. Only times that my horn didn't work was when I bought my X and when I wrecked. Never had it clogged with mud or anything. I would suggest you flip it and point it down. That way the water can drain out of it.
