Maybe this will help someone out. So like the thread says. X wouldnt start. It had plenty of juice, turn the key, and notta, no sounds, nothing. Checked the battery with my multimeter, had plenty of volts, checked my fuses, started to think it just didnt have enough cold cranking amps going so I tried to jump it, no luck.
It was the safety ignition switch that gets triggered when you have the clutch depressed allowing the ignition to fire. IDK.. seems like a jacka$$ set up. You can note in the picture the clutch and the switch, as the clutch is depressed 'just right' the hole will allow that trigger to pass right through with out being hit.. suckers.. there is suppose to be a rubber plug dealy filling that hole. You can see in my picture mine had fell apart (found it on my floor mat). I got lucky leaving work, X wouldnt start, I was like shiz, wtf, pushed the clutch in again and then it fired.. weird I thought, I had pushed the clutch just right the second time to hit the trigger.
You just gotta find something to plug it up and your all set, I happened to hit lowes today and picked up basically a body clip that worked out perfect (80 cents, harware section in the big drawers)
