Hello all, I have recently switched up my vehicle situation and am the owner of a 2001 xterra se (red).
I am no stranger to Nissans, having owned a 97 pathy, 05 350z and a 95 pathy (winter beast to complement the summer beast 350z). The first one was the 97 r50 pathfinder, that thing did me very well I sold it with 350,000km's and it still fetched a decent amount and was running strong. I was thoroughly impressed with the longevity of that pathy so when I felt the need for a sporty coupe the 350z was a natural choice. Soon after picking up the Z I realized that I would need something to haul friends/parts/snowboards/MTB's and pull winter duty so that is when I picked up the wd21 (95 pathy).
This was the situation for 2 yrs, now fast forward to last week....I realize I do not drive the Z to justify keeping it so I sold it, found a sweet Xterra- bought it and now have a deal pending on the old 95 pathy.
So far the xterra is excellent, I do not really do much extreme off road driving but find myself up the mountains both winter and summer so this truck is perfect for my lifestyle.
no real plans for the xterra, but I will likely be upgrading the wheels and tires- I am thinking some 15x8 rock crawlers with some bfg a/t's.
cheers
