So I'm not sure about the rest of you guys and gals, but where I live snow can be a real bitch. If you've seen some of the winter pics I've posted in the past you'll understand what this thread is about.

I'm wondering if any one has heard of the tire KINGSTAR, its made by HANKOOK. A private company buys the product from Hankook and sells them with their logo on them. The model I'm looking at is not put into production with Hankook's name on them but rather KINGSTAR. The tread is nice and wide to allow snow and slush to fall out easier than a regular tire. It also comes with stud holes for that option. The cost is $ 89.00 a tire and $ 15.00 per tire for studs.

The other tires I was scouting out were Cooper M+S. Nice wide track and good tread. Also ( and I'm not positive if you guys in the USA get them ) I was looking at MotoMaster Rough Rider M+S, pretty much the most common winter tire sold here in Canada. Its sold by CANADIAN TIRE ( www.canadiantire.ca ) ( check it out ). Its probally the equivilent to a maybe a PEP BOYS I think.

Any Thoughts or comments would be appreciated.
