Hey all. Saw 2 other noobs on the site from Jersey while starting this topic so I guess I came to the right place. My wife and I are proud new owners of an 09', Night Armor grey, Off Road, Xterra. I've owned it since Tuesday and can't wait for the warranty to finish to start modding. Unfortunately, this is my first brand new vehicle and I'm gonna go by the books on this one.

On the other hand, I do have a 89 Toyota Pickup, lifted, geared, and locked on 33"s that I love to abuse so I'm down anytime for some wheelin. I haven't seen an Xterra on the trails so i'd really like to see how they do.

The other truck that we traded in was a 2000 s-10 ZR2 pickup. Everyone over at ZR2 USA won't be happy to hear that. She had a t-bar leveling and 32x11.5 BFG Muds and a factory locker. Awesome truck ,but we desprately needed a back seat.

If you like to go fast, I have a 86 IROC with a 350, AFR heads, Crane valvetrain, TPIS intake, 30lb injectors, 3000 stall, 3.73 gears, and a lil 100hp insurance provided by Compucar.

If you like to go fast on the dirt, I can show you the 02 Banshee. She sports DMC pipes, V-Force reeds, Trinity head, Raz'r tires, and runs on 100 octane avaiation fuel.

I know how to use the search button and know how to drive even better. I'll post up pics shortly.

Hope to see you on the trails and help out any way I can.

Later.

Welcome to the Club! My parents are in Deptford, Gloucester Co.
You missed the Pine Barren Run which is going on as we speak. I didn't go cause I'm a big pussy right now with my X.

XXX: I saw the Pine Barrons run. Damn that sux. I would have loved to go. Definately would have went in the Toy. I like the "new car smell" in the X. Don't wanna trade it for the dirty moldy smell just yet.

Ricer: Hey i'm pretty good with Toys and ign.'s. I had to put in a relay to get mine to work right. Did the same with a friends.

We had the "turn the key and nothing" intermittent problem. Sometimes it would start and other times nothing. went through 3 starters before I figured out that the ign. wire to the starter wasn't putting out enough amperage to kick over the solenoid.

But it takes almost no power to trip a relay. So I ran the ign wire to a relay to jump full power directly from the battery to the solenoid. Works every time.

Also if you have a body lift, make sure you at least get the "gap guards" for the front or be good at taking apart the starter. The tires love to throw whatever you go through directly on the starter and jam it up. The worst is trying to start your truck up in the freezing cold and nothing cause your starter is frozen solid.

Ahh, Cozumel!!! I've been there 3 times. Love it there. Snorkeled twice and always go to Carlos and Charlie's. Last time I was there I rented a Jeep and went to the ocean side of the island. It's beautiful there. I like how the waves shoot up out of the holes in the rocks.

I also went to San Gervacio. The wife and I are big Myan ruins fans. Been to Dzbiltun outside of Progresso and was amazed at the temple at Chitzen Itza. Sorry my spelling is horrible. Even been to a Cenote when I honeymooned in Playa Del Carmen.

I almost moved to San Pedro, Belieze in the ambergris Cayes. Did some hiking and cave tubing in the jungles of Belize too.

If you know where they are, we could hop in my truck (Toy) and go find them. I've always herd of people going out around the Atison area and would like to check it out.
