I arrived in Australia in the middle of january and stayed there till the end of April. At one point in my trip, we rented a Toyota LandCruiser turbo deisel(since they don't have any X's in the land down under). and 11 of us, yeah thats right 11 of us packing into one and off we went with a roof rack full of beer, goon (really really cheap boxed wine containing fish eggs and fish products, that gets univertisy and backpackers really loaded), tents, sleeping bags, a grill and some food.

So off we went on the worlds largest sand island, two Canadian's (me and my buddy) two random english girls, and 6 random Irish girls (me and my buddy discovered teh luck of the Irish if you know what I mean). Since I was the only one with any off raod expirence I automatically became captain of our rig and took us where we needed to go.

Then after wheeling through the rainforest on and nice and sandy trail for about three hours this is what we came to.... lake Mackenzi, and wow was it beautiful!! I will let the photo do the talking!

what happens if you use 5th gear? signs like that would make me want to use it

it goes faster!! haha the speed limit on the beach, but the rental company didn't want us going over 60km/h (40mph ish) so they didn't want us using 5th gear....... i deff broke both speed limits:mocking: haha

Sounds like a fun adventure but that wine sounds utterly disgusting

OH yeah that wine sucks!!! but it has its advantages, you don't rememeber much, gets girls going wild and most of all messes you up haha... I only drank it twice, the first time I needed to look at Photo's to remember what happened the night before, the second time I just asked the Dutch/Portugeuese girl, (I know weird combination), that was in my bed what happened. haha..............good times

Haha no that was just one of the few times I drank goon..... I stuck with beer on Frasier island.... but the Irish girl I woke up with on top of the roof rack was drinking goon the night before haha...like i said this stuff is great in some ways
