Hey all!
Ive been a member here for about 2 weeks now, and I have already learned so much from reading here..
I just want to give y'all props! The forums are all so friendly, something that is fairly uncommon i feel like..
the search feature actually works, which is pleasing.. just from searching here, I have a HUGE mod day planned for this saturday.. mostly DIY stuff from this forum!

Im going with the pieced together 2" BL, I have all the vinyl off to paint, DIY CIA, and am planning on removing the rear sway.

So, thats it! Just wanted to say hi. :)

Welcome to CX!

We've got some great members here with a wealth of knowledge I've yet to see anywhere else. If you've got a problem or a question, somebody here has the answer.

I agree krussell. This place is not only a wealth of info but the people are greta. I've seen many a newbie post questions in my short time that could have easliy been answered by a search and a little reading. but no one gets flamed for it, maybe a gentle prodding to use the search but that about it.

I'm also thinking of doing the painting of the bumper, molding's etc. I found alot of products but I'm not sure which way I'm going to go yet.

here's a quick list of links I found re: restoring the faded plastics. Let us know how it goes.

I did the DIY CAI and K&N dropin last night. It took me longer to run and get the test plugs and filter than it did to remove the baffles. Good luck.

I concur with the original poster. The people on this site have been great so far. In my experience the automotive sites like this usually have very nice people. It's the athletic message boards that get the majority of flamers. ;P

I'm very new to CX but if it's anything like the BMW board I frequent there's a wealth of information and experience from folks that can save others a ton of money. I'll raise my bottle of Boulevard Wheat to you all....... =)

I'll see if I can find them. I might have deleted them. It's a '99 528i, btw.
