Now that I have decided I am tired of the back end being squished to the stops, I can't find the spring kit, only the HD shackles, and I don't think that is the fix

what your looking for is adding leafs to your leaf springs, increases the load you can put in the rear, once i get some i wont have to take my subs out when offroading, i hit the bump stop twice last time, leaving the subs box and amp at home this time!

this will work but lifts your rear 3"

so will this but not as much, adds 2.5" lift tho

this will help, adds only 1.5" lift

this should help too, probably the highest quality right here

I was about to order some from xterraparts.com only about a month ago, and saw it was gonna be $23 shipping and got pissed and cancelled the order, now they don't even show them anymore
I guess you can order direct from calmini, if you call them on the phone...I never seem to get the time zones right, and everbodys closed :(

They just delivered the rear springs riceman; do you think I will need more than a few jacks and stands to put them in?

no you should be fine, heres the instructions as i have them

to remove:
1. Disconnect shock absorber lower end, and remove U-bolts.
Support axle with jack stand prior to removing leaf spring.
2. Remove the spring shackle.
3. Remove the front pin.
4. Remove the leaf spring.

To install:
1. Apply soapsuds to rubber bushing.
2. Install spring shackle and front pin, and finger tighten the nuts.
3. Install spring pad and nuts under leaf spring or axle case.
4. Tighten U-bolt mounting nuts diagonally.
Tighten U-bolts so that the lengths of all U-bolts under
spring pad are the same.
5. Install shock absorber, and finger tighten the nuts.
6. Remove stands and bounce the vehicle to stabilize suspension.
(Unladen)
7. Tighten spring shackle nuts, front pin nuts and shock absorber
nuts.
When installing rubber parts, final tightening must be carried
out under unladen condition* with tires on the ground.
* Fuel, radiator coolant and engine oil full. Spare tire, jack,
hand tools and mats in designated positions.

Don't forget about SLR (http://www.spencerlowracing.com). His products are top notch, way better than some other's out there that begin with a "C". My friend Mike just put the AC AAL's on and it raised this ass end 3". He had to take his AC shackles off and put the stock one back on.

I'm running the SLR AAL's and it only raised mine 2", so I can you the AC shackles.

Well, got the add a leafs installed. Realized 2'' unless it settles out, I'm happy, that should make up for all the work junk I have to carry in the back, and also when I use a heavy ass, homemade reciever hitch carrier. I had to watch when I pulled garage, it's really close, with safari rack ;)
