Who wants to do a run in June?

what weekend would be good?

I'd probably just run Saturday.

This would be a good pre-run for anyone going ECXC to scope out trails ahead of time. Some that were greens back in December are now blues when we wheeled yesterday. But the map hasn't been updated.

I'd like to lead a blue with some greens group again.

So lets try to get something together

Ian I want to get up there to test out my XJ once I get every thing together....early June would prob be good for me. I would love to run with you guys again if you don't mind a jeep in the crowd. It prob won't be until next year until I wheel my X again.

As long as your up for blues. We had an awesome time yesterday on them.

Ian if you thinking about runnin that same trail you might want to let everyone know that there is some armor that will be required. That trail is just alittle above your regular blue. I'm in for whatever date. Probably earlier the better since ECXC is right around the corner and if something breaks we got time to get parts and fix.

Well put mike. but wuth a good spot and the bypass to the washout it wouldn't be bad.

Good trail though. Recomend skids, even though i didn't have any. I have to get under my truck today and see if i did any damage. Hope not.

Ian...our local club (VA4x4) will be having our Spring Event June 5-7 if you want you guys can come up and camp w/ all of us and come wheel w/ us too.

Right. I forgot you mentioned that. sounds like that would be the best weekend cause of everyone wanting to have time to repair any breakage.

Just let Dave or myself know who is coming. We have nothing to crazy yet basically just come out camp and hang out on Fri night and then go wheel your shit on Saturday and hang out back at camp Sat. night. All are welcome to camp w/ us and to wheel w/ all of us.

This thread died out quick. Looks liek the first weekend is the best bet. i'll be there for whenever it is given I can get saturday off from work. I'll come down sunday though if I can't get saturday off being that I'm about an hour away.

i'd love to, but shit will be too hectic with me moving...im lucky im getting out for the jersey devil run and ecxc

check the vids in the pics and vids thread form the 25th. there was a sick washout we ran through. that was a good idea to have skids.

Nope. Its a blue now. Signs blue. trail 1a is also a blue now. on the easy side of blue but its marked a blue on the property and green on the map still.

Hope some of you guys can make it out the 5th through the 7th. I hear that some 4Runner/Yota guys are also going to be hanging with us that weekend as well...but doesn't sound like it's going to be too many rigs. Probably all total will be about what we had out there on the 25th.

Let Jason or I know who's interested and if you guys need any more info. Like Jason said; camping will be on site at RC, and I know at least 5 of us are staying at the Comfort Inn :mocking: (my wife, 3 kids, and myself will be staying there Friday and Saturday because we have a 20 month old who really can't camp out). I'll still be hanging at that campsite to bs with everyone and chill out until around 10 or 11pm Friday and Saturday night; then just driving the few miles down the road to the Comfort Inn to sleep and hang with the family.

It's going to be a good weekend. Just some relaxing trail riding for some, and an opportunity for balls out crazy stuff for others if they wish. I'm sticking with greens and mild blues as the baby will lose her lunch on 13 :mocking:

Wow. Man I’ve got to pay more attention.
I’ve run the short Blue loops near the “B” side of 1a at the end of a day to get in a few “last licks” but have always avoided the entire trail because it was listed “Green”. I have never even seen 19 because I thought it’d be a waste of time especially after exiting 13. I’ve got to try and check those trails out the next time I’m at Rausch. Thanks for the info.

Its nothing crazy but the washout we did was alot of fun.
