I have spent some time here now and figured its time for the build thread. I'll have lots of pics and links to my mods/diy/installs in here. We all like pics right?

Steeltow at Birth

2006 xterra x model 6-speed manual 2wd
Paid $13K August 2008 (3K below KBB at the time)
39,652 miles (supposedly 1 owner)
Came with what you see in the pic below, BG, step rails, what you don't see, base stereo :(, no tie down hooks in the back, no fog lights
had to do a lot of haggling and dealing with a bunch of stealership BS before it was delivered to me in a satisfactory way, e.g. no spare, re-tagged it when i did a transfer, ough.. the list goes on..

Stealtow Mod List (links are to my CX build threads)

Curt Hitch Install + Factory Wiring Harness (http://www.clubxterra.org/forums/showthread.php?t=8854)
Rhino Floor Mats (http://www.clubxterra.org/forums/showthread.php?t=8830) (not the rhino your thinking of)
Volant Cold Air Intake CAI (http://www.clubxterra.org/forums/showthread.php?t=9510) w Donaldson POWERCORE Filter + horn relocation + DIY ram air + throttle coolant bypass
superchips flashpaq (http://www.clubxterra.org/forums/showthread.php?t=9929) currently running the 91 performance tune

Stealtow to-do-list (more like wanna be list)

Improve electrical (Optima BlueTop, possibly alternator too)
full exhaust including headers I can find
suspension (maybe 0-2" of lift but more important is street handling and help from tow/cargo squat)
wheels and tires
cargo hooks for the sliders in the hatch
might make the move to sliders to feel more secure about curb hopping (ya know there are a ton of medians here in FL! lol)
double din touch screen head unit
full stereo upgrade with probably all cadence, I like the stealth box from JL, maybe make my own though

Here is what beaconed me to her, not to meantion its a 6-speed standard (good luck finding anything standard in FL) The stealership's name has been censored because they suck. Wanted to buy from an individual, but had to take this beauty

hah, thanks! you guys are digging down into the old threads to resurrect this beast. God knows I've slacked on the upgrades so I havnt bumped it myself. Must be the scolding we are getting for re-posting questions ;)

I hope to have some good stuff this winter.. headers or new suspension i think!
