I'm saving up to eventually get a Shrockworks bumper, but I think I'm gonna ask Jim for a slightly non-standard version...
What do you guys think?

I think it loses the natural lines of the hood
Now I am looking into a bumper myself. with the center hoop only, in a grey
I already have a pile of junk I have removed from my X, running out of places to put stuff especially a big hunk of plastic and a alloy grille guard
By the way, Is that installation as easy as they say??? I sure would like to lose that lower valance, all it does is catch mud in front of the wheels

I really like that design. It flows with the lines of the grill and hood. How much would one like that cost?
I dunno...seems to fight with the lines.
You also lose the upper hoop/hood protection in a rollover....the center hoop's larger diameter and set-back relative to the side bars brace the entire face.
By removing the central brace point, the bumper loses a lot of strength.
By moving the lower hoop mounts inward, you also lose room for lights and other bumper accessories.
Maybe just ask for the central hoop to rise straight up at its side's, so it rises out to the hood crease lines, following the inner headlight housing lines...then merely use shorter side hoops to tie in from the same points.
At least you'd preserve function, and move the form factor towards what I think you are trying to do?

I like the way my redisgn followed the lins of the grill, but i was not happy losing the center hoop.
Here is my compromise.

Your compromise is exactly what I described...I think that might be do-able.
Just call Jim and ask him.
He charged me about $35 for my changes several years ago..which entailed just making the entire hoop set 2" taller to compensate for the 2" BL.

Yes, your description was my artistic inspiration.
